Once again we have reached the forum attachment quota limit!

Do you have any posts with images attached that are no longer necessary? Or can be converted to links??

All my images are now hosted on github, been doing this for some time now. I'll be moving all my attachments (zips and pdfs) as well.

Tips for anyone who'll be doing same, i.e. creating a github account, and creating a repository for their files:
Once you've uploaded your file(s) to github, grab the URL link to one file: e.g.

Code: Select all

https://github.com/username/repository/blob/main/filename


For images (to be displayed inside a post): replace the 'blob' with 'raw' and surround the URL link with 'img' tags, e.g.

Code: Select all

[img]https://github.com/username/repository/raw/main/mypic.png[/img]


For (downloadable) attachments: replace the 'blob' with 'raw' and surround the URL link with 'url' tags, e.g.

Code: Select all

[url]https://github.com/username/repository/raw/main/myfiles.zip[/url]


Or you can choose to host your files elsewhere, in which case the above is not useful!!

We're at the limit again. Here's an appeal to all posters to delete old attachments.

All YZF software attachments can be removed, image attachments should be moved to another space.
