Guru needed to explain N Cells to a Layman (for N>2)

Anybody help? I have mastered XWings up to Squirmbags, as these are limited by rows/cells with only 2 possibilities, but I find it really hard to spot more complex N Cells with more than 2 digit possibilities involved.
