I am very stuck on this one: here are numbers from each row, left to right, the -'s are the open #'s, the spaces means next box.

this wont work you have two, two's in the same colum which means its not impposible it will just take a bit longer to do

the two's you putted in bold r6c5 and r8c4...

cunfuzzled, what is the original puzzle? how far did you get? how hard did you try? Try posting your grid with pencilmarks, then I might consider helping...

If it is a school assignment then you should do an effort, and therefor I ask you to post your grid with pencilmarks on it... if it wasn't then I would consider giving you a hint immediately.

The more I look at the puzzle the more easy moves I see...

There is an easy move in the numbers: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9... I'm getting more and more convinced that you didn't botter to try... this is why I find it a real pitty that someone already posted the solution!

I agree with Animator ... I fail to see how anyone can think that posting a completed grid is helpful ... I could show you a beautifully iced cake but unless I give you the ingredients and explain what you do with them, what would you learn?
However, if you only need a cake for your cookery class assisgnment and you're not interested in making it for yourself, then that's a different matter. Maybe 'guest' gave exactly what was wanted here.
