Sudoku Players' Forum (clone)

I'm relatively new to the sudoku/killer sudoku world. I downloaded the top 2 apps for each respective category and started playing. I got the the highest difficulty on the killer sudoku and i havent completed even one yet. Now i'm stuck on a new puzzle.
Am i missing something obvious? Please assist

the same way that you solved the 8,

notice in b4:

r6c2 is in {1,3} - making a pair with r4c4

the 6 is 2+4
and the 11 is 5+6

... and r6c3 = 8


similarly, review r4 to solve r5c5 = 8

... so b2 8 is at r1c4

23 in row 6 = 689, 16 in col 1 = 79 -> r6c1=7,r7c1=9
boxes 4,5 have 87 without r6c2 -> r6c2=3
r6c78=4,1
rows 56 have 82 without r5c5 -> r5c5=8,r1c4=8,r1c5=2
box 4 has 36 without r5c3 -> r5c3=9
