Hello,

I have a variant for you guys all before I try to do this variant. It is called Pyramid Sudoku. The object is all numbers 1-9 in box, and shaded regions which are shaped like a pyramid, Hence it's name...

Is it also still required to have all digits 1-9 in each row and column, as well?

Pyramids

The numbers 1--9 must each appear exactly once in each row, column, block, and pyramid.

Both were interesting puzzles, and fairly easy (as new variants should be at first). Thank you, LadyGrace and katherine_china.

PYR 3:With X and Old Lace

Well here is a harder one, I've added X and Old Lace to make it more restrained. Any easy start but then you need about 10 fishes after which it cascades out.

Hint: there are 9 useful Law of Leftovers.

To give an easier (fish free) alternative (PYR 3A) I've added a couple more givens.
